Cryptic Facebook message hints at E3 reveal for new Assassin’s Creed

Dr. Vidic is an awful, awful man. He also knows how to tease people, what with six weeks or so until E3.
A post left by the character on the official Assassin’s Creed page on Facebook may potentially hint at a reveal of the next title in the series.
“It is the time of our rising,” it reads. “A new age enters and a great battle looms. Templar destiny is at hand and waiting for you. – Dr. Vidic”
A new Assassin’s Creed was announced at the start of the year by Ubisoft, but it’s unknown if it’s a spin-off of some sort or if it’s an actual fully fledged Assassin’s Creed III.
All that’s known about it is that it will feature multiplayer, is set in Rome, is a continuation of Ezio’s story from Assassin’s Creed II and it might be out this year.
Oh, and it might be called Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood.
Thanks, IGN.

AC: Brotherhood seems a plausible option. With that name and a release this year it’s very likely to be a spin-off.

Don’t stuff it up by not taking your time, Ubi.

Oh, that Assassin’s Creed thing. I was hoping for more on WW2, w/ femme assassin.

My guess would be a really short SP mode (maybe a single city’s worth of story) and then the rest of the package will be the multi-player mode. I can’t see them making a full new SP game in just a year, unless they plan on re-using some cities from ACII.
With a title like “Brotherhood” maybe there will be a co-op mode?
