Splatterhouse to feature previous 16-bit editions

splatterhousea3

The new iteration of Splatterhouse will see its older 16-bit brothers join in the gory fun.

Splatterhouses 1, 2 and 3 will be included with the 2010 remaking of the series when it releases last this year, with Splatterhouse 1 being the uncensored Arcade version that was released in Japan.

Splatterhouse 2 and 3 were released on Sega Genesis.

There’s no set-in-stone date yet for the game, but it is set to release at some point this year for PS3 and 360, being done in-house by Namco Bandai after original developer Bottlerocket bit the dust.
