French magazine scans show possible multiplayer DLC for God of War III
What is reportedly a scan of the French Official PlayStation Magazine has popped up over on the GameTrailers forum, supposedly showing multiplayer DLC for God of War III.
The scan claims that the DLC will contain a mini-fighting game for more than just one player.
It’s very blurry, we can’t read French well enough, and there is a strange keyboard thing above it, so we will ask Sony about this before going any further.
The game’s design director, Todd Papy, told us at GDC that DLC for Kratos’ latest adventure was a “possibility”, but would not go into further detail – only saying that Sony Santa Monica had “some ideas” it was looking into.
Take it for what it is – a massive effing rumor – until we find out more, we reckon.

God I hope so. I still mailed to be sure. Tomorrow is really going to suck in terms of “newz”. I think we should just make it a worldwide holiday, and have the governments close the internet. Anyone that logs in gets caned.

It says that you can face off and play as zeus, hercule, hermes and krotos in an arena. it plays as a combat game 1vs1. The mag then says that it is rumored to be free.

It says GoW DLC will be a 2 players fighting mode, ala Street Fighter 4. Considering the magazine publish date (April), there’s little doubt that it’s a fake…
Also the news above is about “Piano Hero”, will be released with a piano shaped controller (the picture) and it will have PS3 buttons =p
April’s Fool + foreign language = internet hype machine at its best !

I would love a Piano Hero game. Have thought one could be cool for a long time. Then again, I could just get my real-one tuned and moved out of storage, but that would cost more than the game….maybe.
