Ninja Theory working on “secret project”
Ninja Theory, developers of PS3 exclusive Heavenly Sword and the upcoming Enslaved from Namco-Bandai, has confirmed its started work on a “secret project”.
Speaking in the latest 4 Guys, 1UP podcast, co-founder Tameem Antoniades only hinted it wasn’t going to be either a downloadable project or was it a game for the handhelds.
“We’ve just started pre-production on a new secret project,” he said. “It’s a full scale, it’s a pretty big project. It’s still top secret, but it’s gonna be awesome, obviously.”
As for now and Ninja Theory’s latest project, Enslaved is due at some point in 2010 for PS3 and 360.

If you ask me, Heavenly sword 1 was OK game.

Its absolutely going to be Heavenly sword 2.
this game sold for 1 million and 400000 copies at the start of the PS3. PS3 userbase at that time was so-o-o-o little. (games like MAG and Heavy Rain with 35 million PS3 fanbase sold less then million). No doubt about it. This game is a cash of money + Sony owns the franchise.
Expect it at the E3 2011 i think.

Sony and Ninja Therory had a public fallout though didnt they, and i swear they said they wernt making another HS game a few years ago.

Heavenly Sword took several years to surpass 1 million sales.

The Ninja Theory site is very confusing but the 1 million sales was May 2008 not last year.

I thought Heavenly Sword had some great character design, but had choppy frame rates and ok gameplay. What we really need to see is Kung Fu Chaos 2!
