GT5 gets another stunning trailer

gt57

We’re not entirely sure Polyphony’s upcoming PS3 racer could look any better. Make your own mind up after the link.

The latest Gran Turismo 5 trailer easily passes the goosebump test, showing tracks, Mercedes, Ferrari, rally and destruction overlaid with wind-up house.

Some of the environments on offer here are just stellar. Don’t read this, idiot boots: get it below.

It’s out later this year. This movie actually appeared at the weekend in various unofficial forms, but it’s been pulled since.

*Yawn* looks boring to me. Pretty, but boring as the other GT’s. Give me a FUN racer like burnout every time.

Yeah I agree. I mean fair play to those who like simulation games, but my money is all over Split Second and possibly Blur.

When’s the damn game coming out? Seriously, I haven’t even touched Forza 3 but it’s becoming more tempting.

Post the pics from the EU PS post, Pat.

They’re truly stunning.

Is that Subaru the only car in the game that can take damage? It’s the only damaged vehicle I’ve seen in any of the footage! :)

@6
Its apparently the same footage of that same car. It seems this is the games intro and for the most part its just a load of old footage stuck together. Thats why it shows that same car alot; Its the games ‘cover car’.

alright you know what this game is looking fucking dated. Stop this BS PD and release the damn game already. If this was 2007 my jaw would be on the ground but enough is enough.
Release the damn game and stop trying to fit every car conceived on the Blu-ray disc.

Fuck it I hate DLC but for you guys i’ll except it because you take fucking forever to make a gammmmmmmmmmme. Don’t even attempt GT6 in this gen either.

1. because there’s no way you’ll improve the graphics engine

2. because PS4 will have already been out four years ahead.

I’m in the same boat as a few, but maybe not most.

I dunno.

I like my racers to be fun. If it has good control(none of that fighting the car and track because the physics engine is harder then it should be), and the on track racing is close and competitive, I will enjoy it.

I have not enjoyed a GT game after the first one. And I don’t like Forza either. Too hard to drive. Think of it this way – if you play Fifa/Pes do you have to be a great runner, striker, and be in top physical shape in order to play the game? Of course not. The game simulates your char simply “knowing and having” those abilites for you. Aply that to racing. Should I need years of driving experience to get around a track?

No. The game should take care of that thro driver assists, and allow me to focus on the actual racing.

Most of the time I end up not enjoying racing games any more. Used to be one of my fav game types.
