God of War III confirmed for March 25 in Japan

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan has confirmed that God of War III will release in the country on March 25.

The game will be released separately as well as being bundled in the God of War Trillogy edition, consisting of GoW III and the God of War Collection, which Capcom and not Sony is publishing.

So far, all that has been confirmed for a release in Europe and the US is spring 2010.

There is no confirmation yet, though, on the date that was given to Gran Turismo 5 by main Japanese retailers, which is also the same date GoW III goes on sale, March 25.

SCEJ also confirmed a re-print of Shadow of the Colossus will be released on February 4 for ¥1,800.

We’ll email SCEE about a European date for GoW III, but word to the wise: don’t hold your breath.

Surely it’s one of those mistakes where you can buy something for way cheap anyway?

Anyway, Poseidon looks great, but I don’t really care otherwise :D

Depends if it’s Game exclusive or not. The price is probably right… apparently in Sweden it’s going to be selling for the equivalent of £179.

Hmmm…gamestation apparently does have it for order aswell *strokes beard* given the fact I have s discount and vouchers from xmas I could get this edition for about £50 *strokes beard*

This better be available instore cos otherwise sony can shove it
