Sony to fix MAG Beta connection issues

SCEE’s Elliott Martin has stated on the EU PS Blog that connection issues with MAG’s open beta are to be sorted before the game launches.
“We have seen a few connection issues today, which the team are working to resolve, so it’s possible you may experience some issues connecting to games for the time being,” he wrote.
Citing the issue as “growing pains”, Martin said that Zipper Interactive is hard at work ensuring that the servers will be working at launch.
The open beta for the 256 multiplayer shooter went live yesterday, and retail outlets have the title slated for a January 29 release.

I gave the closed beta a shot – didn’t like it. I gave this open beta a shot, same. Just seems very generic and basic.
For as long as it’s been in beta, there’s no animation going into scope view – it’s laughable really.

Tried to log on MAG numerous times yesterday and today … no chance
I get a network error before a match even starts.
