Funcom ditches $9.6 million in Q3
Funcom’s posted a $9.6 million loss for the quarter ending September 30, compared to a profit of $3.3 million in the third quarter of 2008.
Revenues were down from $18 million to $5.7 million.
Q4 revenues is expected to be in the $4-5 million region.

Not looking too bright… the losses are nearly twice as big as the revenues with no major improvement in sight, and at the same time they have a massive need for cash in the next couple of years for developing their new MMO…

age of concn wasn’t a good MMo to begin with it started off with alot flaws. The game is ver pretty however the game was full of bugs and is a mess.
In fact the lead game dev resigned because the mmo had poor start. funcom has track record of releasing mmo’s when they are not done and ready. The game had alot of promise.
I high recomend that funcom make the free to play and the game needs to cleaned up.
