Resident Evil Zero dated for December 1 on Wii

Capcom has announced that Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil Zero will ship on December 1 for Wii.

It tells the back story of the Umbrella Corporation and lets players discover the origins of the T-Virus in a storyline leading up to the mansion incident.

Previously only available on GameCube, Rebecca Chambers is in Raccoon City where she must investigate a series of murders as she stumbles upon a military transport truck filled with corpses. Joining her is Billy Coen, an ex-Marine convicted for the murder of 23 people.

Players will get to control both Rebecca and Billy simultaneously using the Partner Zapping system.

A mention that this is the US date wouldn’t be a bad idea, with the European release being January 22nd.
