Sony Ericsson launches PS-compatible Aino
Sony Ericsson’s launched the PS3 compatible Aino, as you can see on the EU PS Blog. It’s a phone, in case you didn’t know.
Stuff it lets you do:
- Turn a PS3 on and off
- Browse and control the XMB user interface
- Access the internet and any DRM free media content saved on the hard drive
- Sign in to the PS3 network and message friends
- Shop for items in the PS3 store
- Watch and record live television using PlayTV
Buy three. Hit the link for full details.

So its a phone and PS3 remote control? Seems it would have been smarter to make the PSPgo a phone instead.

Nice, but as pracer says, they really needed PSPGo to be the PSPhone, something I’ve no doubt is currently in development. As it is, this is a phone with a few handy features if you’re also a PS3 user.
I’m hoping to one day see PSN games become cross PS3 – PSP compatible, but that will have to wait until at least a generation on from both PSP and the inevitable PS4.

You guys have a good point. They really should have made tha PsPGO a phone also. But we’re talkin about sony here ok. They don’t have Bill G. money ya kno. It will be a PsPhone coming soon if sony would like to keep new money rolling in.

They missed some easy headlines there. Ainol would have been a better, more catchy name.
