Bayonetta demo expected to land October 8

bayonetta

SEGA plans to release a demo for Bayonetta on PS3 and Xbox 360 October 8.

There will be a different demo for each system, offering different stages.

The PS3 demo, which is around 1,196Mb in size, will include a tutorial and The Angel’s Metropolis stage, while the 360 demo (770Mb), will include the tutorial, The Angel’s Metropolis stage, and the Falling Clock Tower prologue stage.

Both demos will provide options for camera, sound and display adjustments.

Japanese site Andriasang posted this bit of news, so we will double check that it is coming to the US and UK as well – just to be sure. It probably is though.

Thanks, D’toid.

That’s quite odd – 360 version has more content but is somehow much smaller.

I’ll give this a go, though. I’m curious.

I thought the ps3 version was supposed to suck harder than dyson ?

I’ll give it a punt though…

The PS3 version didn’t perform too badly at TGS from what I hear. A slightly wonkier frame-rate and blurrier visuals, but otherwise sound.

That said, I think the ‘clock tower’ level from the 360 demo is the one that was terrible on PS3 when it was shown before and that was removed from the TGS version of the PS3 demo. So I guess….. these are the show-floor demos from TGS?

Perhaps the smaller demo size can be explained by one of the most recent 360 firmware updates.
