Risen PC goes gold, Xbox 360 version delayed

risen

Piranha Bytes has announced that its RPG Risen has gone gold for PC and will be released on October 2, as expected.

However, its publisher Deep Silver has revealed that the Xbox 360 version has been moved to an early 2010 release.

No reason was given for the delay.

I have a reason based on the last games from Piranha: The game is having so much bugs that MS are not alowing to be published before some of them are fixed. So we PC gamers will be totally screwed.
P.S. I hope I am wrong and that Deep Silver just want to release the PC version first because they love PC gaming.

That delay affects only North America:

“The game is expected to be released on the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft in North America early next year.”

maybe they wanted to put some more polish on it so people would call it a two worlds clone!
