Hitman 5 due in 2010, plot will tie in with movie sequel

hitman1b

Variety reports the sequel to the Hitman film will “contain story elements from Hitman 5″ and that the aforementioned will be out “in late 2010.”

So if you’ve missed playing a wooden bald man garotting people with cheese wire and storing their bodies under flights of stairs then you can start getting excited.

We’ll contact Eidos and see if we can find out more.

Thanks, Kotaku AU.

i’ve got quite a few problem with this news
1. when they say “plot will tie in with movie sequel” it usually means it will be an unfinished game, rushed out to be released the same time as the movie
2. get a new actor to play 47, because Olyphant was no good
3. reboot the series because if they use everything they said in the first movie the second one will be even worse

As long as they follow the up the good work on Blood Money, I’m in.

Blood Money was the first one where they got it right i.e. have each mission it’s own mission rather than having 3 levels for a single hit, which justs lasts way too long.
