Rumour: PS3 Slim will skip E3, is real

Ars is rumouring that the PS3 Slim is a reality, but won’t be announced next week at E3.
For what it’s worth, we’ve been given a very heavy nudge today that the new SKU is, indeed real.
There’s lots through there, including an insistence that PSP-Go is an actual thing. You know what? It really is.
Hit this for all the conference timings for next week.

I’m personally game for a slim tbh. My dad bought a PS3 for the family and well, it’s giant.

I told you it was real
Be a shame if it skips E3 though

So will this mean a ‘fat’ PS3 price drop or will the slim just cost EVEN MORE?

I doubt they’d announce two bits o’ hardware at the same time and this is definitely the PSP’s E3.
A slimline would be great, obviously – the PS2 slimline was an excellent improvement on the original. Unfortunately the pictures leaked last week look ‘really horrible’ – I hope to God they were faked.
