Ubisoft refuses to comment on Pachter Ass Creed 2 and SC: Conviction rumours

splintercell51b.jpg

Ubisoft has declined to comment on Michael Pachter’s predictions that Assassins Creed 2 and Splinter Cell: Conviction will ship sometime before March 2010.

When VG247 approached Ubisoft this morning we were met with a resounding “no comment” from a senior representative for the company.

Ubisoft confirmed last year that it was “hard at work” on Assassins Creed 2 whilst Splinter Cell: Conviction community manager Chris Easton, told VG247 that it wil be “worth the wait.”

Don’t expect these rumour to let up any time soon.

Is it too early to call it Assassins Greed?
Probably not until the 3rd or 4th instalment eh?

I’d completely forgotten about Splinter Development-Hell.

What happened I wonder. I guess we will never know.

Well according to the above link, it’s still well under way.

I asked about it only last Friday, actually.

So it used to boring and ugly. I can see why they decided to delay it.

I hope they’ve used the time to go back to more Chaos Theory style gameplay. Double Agent was not what the SC franchise needed.

I don’t agree. In fact, I thought Krudster’s review was spot on.

I enjoyed Double Agent so much I went and completed Chaos Theory! I found them very similar in gameplay styles.

Now, I must get around to finishing the Xbox version of Double Agent (similar plot but different game).

Krudster also told me that if you get hold of a copy of DA for Xbox 1. It’s an almost entirely different game.

He said he was well taken aback. It’s supposed to be really good too.

The first level (infilrating the base) is almost completely different! Not played much past that as it keeps crashing when played off my livingroom Xbox’s HDD, so I’ll have to just play it on one of the other Xboxes or on the 360.

Last I saw my local Gamestation had copies out for £2.50 :)

If I see it for that money I might get it. Hopefully they’ll release it as an Xbox Original.

So you prefer DA to CT? Death’s too good for you.

I thought DA was wicked, yeah.

Choas Theory was superb.

But unless they hire Amon Tobin again, it won’t ever be as epic. Top gear STILL use the music. Yes STILL.

DA was god awful.

Anyway… FUCK OFF WITH YOUR ASS CREED STUFF!! GAME WAS GOOD SHIT!
