Grey logo news “two years late,” says Nintendo
Reports this morning of Nintendo changing its logo to grey are “two years late,” the company said today.
Nintendo UK told CVG that the grey logo launched along with the Wii two years ago.
“We are using grey, but the racetrack logo can be represented in a number of different colours. You’ll often see it in black, white, silver or grey,” a spokesperson said today.
We for one, are certainly glad that’s cleared up.

I like the ol’ red and white. It’s just classic me thinks.

“We for one”? /giggle
I’m glad they sorted that out though, I thought the idea that they’d completely dumped any other colour from their logo other than grey was a bit absurd. It’s actually the appearance of the logo that never changes, but the colour has changed plenty, even back in the SNES days.

We as a single entity, yeah. Like a team.

Oh, I understood what you meant, it’s just that implying we as one (as that sentence did) made it sound like VG was some kind of hive-mind for a moment, there. I found that quite entertaining, hence the giggle. It wasn’t at anything grammatical or the likes.

We are Borg-like in the way we think, yes.
