Ziff may ditch EGM’s print version
Ziff Davis has admitted it’s “considering” canning the print version of EGM.
Chief executive James Young, has told the New York Times that an online-only future for the mag is a possibility, but that the publisher “would not make a decision before the end of the year.”
Just do it. Print’s rubbish.
Thanks, Joystiq.

EGM’s about three pages long once you take out the adverts anyway.

I don’t believe that, PC Zone was absolutely fantastic until Future Publishing had to go and cock it up. Edge and Games™ are still pretty nice though, they’re opinionated buggers whom I don’t always agree with, but that’s what I like about them. They have an opinion. And that’s something I find seriously lacking on a lot of Internet review sites, even Eurogamer of late.

I disagree with that last statement, I like being able to take the magazine with me anywhere, I can’t do that with the internet – I need something to access the internet with, and I need an internet connection that I can use. With a magazine I just need the magazine. Obviously.
