Nintendo shows off new Wii wireless network adaptor

wiiwireless.jpg

Famitsu’s got shots of a new wireless networks adaptor for Wii, a peripheral that’s going to be on sale through Nintendo Japan’s online store from September 18.

It’s got an ethernet port and a bridge switch, apparently, and will cost ¥5,800. No idea if it’s coming west.

Thanks, Joystiq.

um… I have a wii… already wirelessly connected to my network. Or do they currently use invisible network elfs to do that?

I guess it’s just a Wii-styled Access Point, or is it?

BA: Network elfs! That explaines everything!

elfs or elves?

I wish this was some sort of hard drive too, that would be nice.
