New Xbox 360 dashboard leaked, shown running on a modded console

Xbox-Scene’s carrying a movie of what’s supposedly a leaked version of Xbox Experience working on a modded 360.

The pirate version of the upcoming Xbox 360 dashboard apparently only works on machines installed with the Infectus 2 mod chip. You may know what that means. There’s more detail through the link.

Wow, these crackers are quick! Also the fact that the update worked without bricking his 360 is a good sign for all users!

Like I said before (and the video kinda confirms it) is more of an Apple TV UI knock off than lame ol’ XMB. It also appears from the video that it a different build than the revision shown at e3.

Anyhoot, I hope they add a Search tab somewhere, or a least a filter for downloads.

Have you never seen Windows Media Center or XBMC mortiferus? They pre-date Apple TV by quite some time.

Although ripping off XBMC would be wrong too.

Psychotext, Ive used Windows Media Center and have seen XBMC in action. I always felt both were clunky. After using a an Apple TV ( with the 2.0 software) for the last month, I honestly feel the new xbox dashboard feels more like it than even MS own WMC. It “Appears” smooth, responsive with a very passive experience overall. Mind u IF I were to copy something It would be just that.
