Sakaguchi: The Last Story is no Final Fantasy "rehash"

Mistwalker's Hironobu Sakaguchi has said that the dev's next project The Last Story is no "rehash" of Final Fantasy.

The creator of the popular Square Enix series was responding to a tweet from a fellow user, asking if The Last Story was taking a branch from the FF tree, which he answered:

"I think you'll feel this once you've tried it. LS is not a rehash."

This was answered after he told the director of Final Fantasy Gaiden Takashi Tokida to try "stopping with the Final Fantasy rehashes?"

It was probably said with gist in mind, though.

No date's been given yet for the RPG, but is due for a release on Wii.
