Report - Wada and Kimura exit Grasshopper Manufacture

Yasuhiro Wada and Yoshiro Kimura have left Grasshopper Manufacture, according to a report on Siliconera.

The site has learned, according to the post, that the two men exited the firm during August, after having joined it last year. Yasuhiro Wada, known as the creator of the Harvest Moon games took a position with Grasshopper as COO, while Yoshiro Kimura, creator of Little King’s Story, was brought on as CCO.

Both were at one time high-profile Marvelous Entertainment developers, and Wada had worked with Grasshopper head Goichi Suda in the past as a producer on No More Heroes.

When the duo joined, Suda said the move would "help us produce games in a more stable manner,” and that having these two people join Grasshopper would "make us a more sturdily-organized company, and it’ll improve our development, technical, and release skills.”

It is unclear at the moment what, if anything, Wada and Kimura were working on, but Grasshopper has quite a few titles in the pipeline such as Codename D for Kinect, Black Knight Sword, Lollipop Chainsaw, Rebuild of Evangelion: Sound Impact, and Sine Mora.
