Ubisoft won't address misconduct allegations at Ubisoft Forward

Ubisoft has said that it will not address recent allegations of harassment and abuse at Ubisoft Forward tonight.

The company posted an official statement on Twitter, which you can read below.

"Ubisoft Forward comes during a time of big internal change," the statement reads. For context, it was recently announced that three of Ubisoft's top executives are leaving the company, effective immediately.

Maxime Beland also resigned from his role of Vice President Editorial last week after having been suspended alongside Tommy Francois, who is also a VP. Both have been accused of "at least three claims of misconduct."

"Because all the content has been pre-recorded, we wanted to recognize that the issues we're currently dealing with won't be addressed directly in the show," the statement continues. "We still have significant work to do and are committed to this process. We will provide more updates soon."

Ubisoft Forward is the company's answer to the E3-less summer, and will feature footage from a variety of its upcoming games, including Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs: Legion.

The pre-show is live now and you can watch it here. The main show kicks off at 12pm PT, 3pm ET, and 8pm BST. Again, it will not feature any official statement on recent personnel changes at the company, nor will it publicly address allegations of misconduct in the workplace.
