UK retailer GAME is changing the earn rate of its Reward loyalty points.
GAME’s Reward programme works in a similar way to other retailer loyalty schemes. In that you earn points the more you spend at GAME, and you can later use these points towards other purchases.
Previously, GAME would award one Reward point for every £0.125 spent. The retailer has announced that, beginning yesterday, January 25, it’s reducing this to one point for every £0.25 spent.
This basically means that you’ll have to spend double the money to earn the same number of points. That said, GAME is not changing the value of Reward points, so you’ll still be able to use them in the same way you do today.
