Years later, DLCs for Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 are finally available on Origin

EA has finally answered the cries of Mass Effect fans on PC, offering the DLC for Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3 directly on Origin.

If you've ever played Mass Effect games on PC, you will no doubt be well aware that acquiring the DLC for Mass Effect 2 and 3 is not an easy task.

Since the games' initial release (before Origin was a thing in the case of Mass Effect 2), and until today, the only way to purchase the DLC has been through the BioWare store using BioWare Points.

This was done on a pretty outdated website, and well out of sight for many. Fans have been pleading with EA to just offer the packs on Origin, and the day has finally come - sort of. While you still won't be able to buy each DLC pack individually, you can buy a bundle for either game, though the prices are not cheap.

The Mass Effect 2 DLC Bundle costs $25, while the Mass Effect 3 bundle is even more expensive at $30 - a total of $55. The bundles don't include the main game, but considering how often they go on sale, it's not really a big issue.

Each bundle comes with other goodies like the soundtrack, digital art book, digital comics and so on.

Although the bundles are expensive, being on the Origin store means there's potential for them to go on sale at some point. Origin currently has a holiday sale, but they're obviously not included.

If you're looking to get the different DLC pieces a la carte, BioWare Points remain your best option.
