Overwatch's Lucio is coming to Heroes of the Storm as a support character

Heroes of the Storm players who are also fans of Lucio in Overwatch should be pleased with the news noted in the headline.

News of the Overwatch character joining Heroes of the Storm as a new support character was announced in a video put out by Blizzard overnight.

Many players on the Heroes of the Storm forums seem rather pleased with another support character being added, as Lucio's songs can both heal members of his team and boost movement speed.

That said, many were hoping StarCraft's Alexei Stukov would be the next hero added to the mix, while others aren't happy with Lucio's addition in the slightest. You can't please everyone all the time, so it's to be expected.

Lucio will arrive on the Heroes of the Storm public test realm (PTR) on February 6.

He joins other Overwatch heroes Tracer and Zarya.
