This Mass Effect: Andromeda recruitment video teases rewards when you sign up on the game's official website

Bioware wants fans to sign up for Mass Effect: Andromeda news bulletins and have provided a recruitment video to tempt you, and mentions something about taking place "600 years from where we stand." Come on N7 Day!

That 600 years bit, well, it could be the timeline for the game, but since we aren't too sure on that, don't take our word for it. Since the game takes place “long” after the events of the original trilogy, it makes sense, though.

The fellow narrating the trailer above is none other than Ryder's father, which confirmed by Bioware's creative director Mac Walters. Ryder isn't the lady in the video, according to Walters; however, you will hear more about who the lady is on N7 Day - which is Monday, November 7.

As previously reported, the main characters in Mass effect: Andromeda are siblings. If the players chooses the female Ryder, your brother is out there somewhere in the universe - and vice versa.

The N7 narrating the video, the player's father, was first shown at E3 2015.

Anyway, back to the recruitment information.

Called the Andromeda Initiative, those who register will be "among the first contacted" to receive: "critical mission information, special training opportunities, and will also be eligible for rewards upon program completion."

It all starts on November 7, so if you want to find out what these perks are - sign up here.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is set for release this spring on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, and Xbox One.
