Blizzard is probably teasing StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void

Blizzard has been teasing something for StarCraft 2 over the past few days and I think we all know what it is.

The teasers are in the form of very short audio clips posted on the game’s Sound Cloud page.

The first one is some sort of a Zerg sound effect along with some explosions going on, and I don’t know what the second one is, but it’s no Protoss sound.

This is most definitely the Legacy of the Void expansion to StarCraft 2. StarCraft 2 expansions are two years apart and Heart of the Swarm came out in 2013.

There is a StarCraft 2 panel on Friday, so this probably where Blizzard will announce more details and give a release date. This does not explain the suspicious gap in the BlizzCon schedule though.

We are going to find out in the next few days when BlizzCon opens its doors on Friday, November 7.
