Harmonix survey asks all sorts of questions about Rock Band

A survey from Harmonix has surfaced and it's asking participants whether they would be interested in Rock Band being released on current-gen consoles.

Other questions in the survey ask about sales on currently available DLC, how often you buy said DLC, which console you play Rock Band on, how many times a month or week you play it, and whether you would also like new instruments or see a new version of the game released on last-gen systems like PS3 and Xbox 360.

While the survey doesn't confirm Harmonix is planning on developing a new Rock Band anytime soon or whether a current-gen port is in the works, it does provide a little bit of hope for fans of the franchise.

Until then, we have Harmonix's Dance Central: Spotlight to look froward to in the near future. It's out on Xbox One in September. Fantasia: Music Evolved is also in the works.
