Rise of Incarnates is a new free-to-play fighting game from Namco Bandai. It's coming to PC in North America later this year and favours a 2v2 format set in 3D renditions of real-world landscapes. We've got the first trailer and details here:

The Rise of Incarnates site is open now, and contains debut art, gameplay details and a synopsis. It takes place in a world ravaged by devastating cold snaps brought on by falling meteorites, and features super-powered individuals known as Incarnates who can summon power from entities inside them. Each of them have been told, "To avoid certain destruction, you must defeat the Sovereign of this era," triggering a battle to reach this mysterious figure.

Battles will include close and long range combat, and will require fast reflexes to win. In a statement, Joon Hwang, Director of Digital Games at Namco Bandai Games America Inc said, "As a new franchise, Rise of Incarnates represents the next big step in expanding Namco Bandai's footprint in the Free-to-Play gaming space. Having been built from the ground up, Rise of Incarnates contains the necessary attributes that create a rich and dynamic gaming environment that fans are sure to enjoy.”

We'll have more on Rise of Incarnates soon.
