War of the Vikings, Fatshark’s in-beta followup to War of the Roses, is open to all comers this weekend, and even has some new content to show off.

War of the Vikings has been updated with a new play mode called Conquest and a new weapon category – javelins – which pierce shields.

The next update will bring spears, which can force opponents backwards, and a new cliff-side map.
