The Showdown Effect goes free this weekend on Steam

The Showdown Effect developer Arrowhead Game Studios is making its mad combat game free to play on Steam for this weekend, before going back to paid.
The game, which is inspired by movie tropes, takes a Smash Bros. arena format and crams gunplay and a fog of war into the mix. You can get it for free this weekend on Steam, or if you're feeling generous, buy it now for £1.99. The game's DLC is also 75% off until September 23.
