War of the Overworld has become the most recent Kickstarter success story. The game is in development at Subterranean Games and has been heavily inspired by the Dungeon Keeper series.

At the time of writing the funding campaign has amassed £211,371
of its £150,000 goal with no time left on the clock. However, the studio is still accepting pledges over at its official website.

In the game you play as the nefarious Underlord as he prepares to raise hell on the overworld. You can recruit minions and create dungeons rammed full of traps to repel attacks from the surface.

The game is coming to Windows, Linux and Mac by August 30th and you can also vote for the game on Steam Greenlight now.
