Concept art surfaces for Visceral’s canceled Jack the Ripper project

Concept art has surfaced over on Siliconera and it features images created by former Visceral Games artist “Joebot” of a game called The Ripper.

Basically, it was a game which starred Jack the Ripper as a vampire hunter. It was in development after the firm finished work on Dead Space and was circulating the rumor mill during 2008-2009.

There’s also a batch of concept art which was to be included in the firm’s The Simpsons Game as posters spoofing the video game industry. Parody posters for Dead Space, The Sims, and Half-Life were created, as you can see throgh here, but none of these made it into the final game.
