The intriguing upcoming MMO from Age of Conan developer’s Funcom will get a beta, and you can sign up starting later this month, August 26.

The unique MMO is notable for taking place in the modern world rather than some far-flung fantasy land or out in deep space.

It is said to include no classes, levels, or other RPG tropes, and is promising “total freedom of play.” The game is making some lofty promises, and we’re hoping that the skilled developers at Funcom can come through.

Hopefully we’ll have more details to go on once the beta gets off the ground.

Sometimes we include links to online retail stores. If you click on one and make a purchase we may receive a small commission. Read our policy.
