Mortal Kombat dev diary talks Rain

By Brenna Hillier, Thursday, 21 July 2011 02:38 GMT

The latest Mortal Kombat developer diary discusses everyone’s favourite royal ninja, Rain, and how his sound effects owe a lot to some innocent fruit salad.

It also gives a look at some of Rain’s classic and new moves as well as his fatality, discusses his popularity with fans and highlights how his backstory influenced his design.

Rain is available now as downloadable content on both the PlayStation Network and Xbox 360.

Phew! Made it through without a single weather pun.
