100,000 apply for APB Reloaded closed beta

K2 Network has confirmed that over 100,000 people have applied to be part of the closed beta for APB Reloaded.

The news comes from the relaunch's development blog; the first wave of applications for the closed beta will stop being taken from 8am GMT tomorrow morning.

The closed beta will roll out in a staggered fashion, hitting the US West Coast, the US East Coast and then Europe.

K2 adds that it aims to launch the beta on February 28. There's more info through here.

APB was originally developed by Realtime Worlds, which went bust last year.
