PopCap moves on WiiWare with Bejeweled 2

PopCap’s announced that its first WiiWare game will be Bejeweled 2, which has hit the service with “immediate availability” in Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

The game, the second in “the most popular puzzle game series of the 21st century,” according to the company today, is now available for download for 1000 Wii Points.

Wii-specific features, including Mii and Nintendo WiFi support, are included.

“PopCap is committed to making our games available for everyone, everywhere so this launch is a significant milestone for us,” said PopCap Euro boss Paul Breslin.
