Pokemon Black and White Japanese pre-orders hit 1 million

The Japanese have gone properly mental for Pokemon Black and White before they’ve even shipped. Shocker, that.

The two games have had 1 million pre-orders in the region, according to OnlinePlayer. They’ve broken the record of being the fastest-selling Pokemon games ever in Japan.

Pokemon Black and White releases on September 18 in the country for DS, with a spring 2011 launch in the west.
