Enslaved gets October 8 European release

Namco Bandai has announced Enslaved’s arriving at European retailers on October 8.

Funnily enough, this is the same release date the publisher denied back in June.

The PS3 and Xbox 360 title was developed by Ninja Theory and co-directed by Lord of the Rings star Andy Serkis, who also gave the studio a hand with PS3 exclusive Heavenly Sword.

The game’s story was written by 28 Days Later writer Alex Garland, and is a modern twist on the old Chinese tale, Journey to the West.

We saw it a while back. It looked pretty, obviously. You can read our interview with Ninja Theory boss Tameem Antoniades here.

Game’s out on October 5 in the US.

Thanks, MCV.
