WHA announces Kick-Ass for PSN and iPhone

WHA Entertainment has announced that it's releasing Kick-Ass for PSN and iPhone on April 15.

Based on the superhero action movie of the same name, players in Kick-Ass will take on the role of any one of three superheroes based on the characters from the movie.

The 3D fighting game's set in a third-person perspective, with gamers able to play either Kick-Ass, Hit Girl, or Big Daddy.

Set in New York City, there are eight story missions full of petty thugs and mob bosses to beat upon. There's also sub-missions, mini-games and plenty of gore, according to the press release.

The game also has multiplayer local co-op and integration with Facebook and Twitter on PSN, with many of your missions given via friend requests from Facebook.
