CryEngine 3 readied for PS4, 720

Speaking at GC Asia, Crytek's Cevat Yerli has confirmed that the next generation of CryEngine will be release on the next round of console hardware.
The Studio boss said he expects the next tech round in either 2011 or 2012, and that 360's successor will arrive a year before the next PlayStation.
Having estimated the console cycle, Crytek must now consider the technology inside the next boxes.
"That knowledge should be used to differentiate your game from the competition," he said, explaining why it's imperative to shift now, instead of attempting to eke the rest from this hardware cycle.
