Warhammer Online players to be compensated for weekend downtime
Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning had a “difficult” weekend, a post on the BioWare Social Newtwork reports, with lag spikes and zone crashes. It took Mythic’s team until Sunday to find the root cause, and severs had to be taken offline. Once Mythic has figured out who was affected by the downtime, which was unfortunately not announced in-game, it will compensate subscribers with ten days of game time and one Golden Writ, while all characters will reveive a 100% XP and RP boost for seven days; a stack of ten lesser bone wards; and a special title.
Thanks, Massively.

Weekly MMO news round-up: Fallen Earth gets screened, CrimeCraft enters beta, Ultima needs testers

Leading up to E3, there is not a megaton of news with anything, let alone MMOs. The week was basically all about screens, delving into crafting systems and character sheets, and general stuff that you can view on any online game’s website. It’s called pre-E3 malaise, and today it’s pretty thick.
However, we have dug through the mire once more to bring you something in the way of MMO news that didn’t hit the front page.
You can catch up on it all after the break.
