Shift 2 videos shows off Autolog 2.0
EA’s released a new video of Shift 2: Unleashed, introducing the all-new version of Autolog. The clip shows two US racers facing off in a challenge issued via the service, first introduced in Hot Pursuit. Watch it below.

Autolog for Shift 2 detailed, new loyalty program to be introduced
Slightly Mad’s detailed to Joystiq how Autolog will work in Shift 2: Unleashed. Basically, it’ll be the same as its introduction in Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, but then some.

NFS: Shift tries to access PS Store from 360 version
Whoops.
Freakbits has claimed that Need for Speed: Shift is “the most bug-ridden piece of code”, saying that the Xbox 360 version crashes sometimes when trying to access the PlayStation Store.
No, that ain’t a typo.
“The list of serious bugs being reported by customers is embarrassing and it has crashed on me at least a dozen times,” said the site.
“But this could be the most embarrassing fail of all.
“When navigating menus today while connected to Xbox Live the game suddenly crashed again. When my rage had subsided and I got a better look at the screen, I was pretty shocked at what I saw.
“Was my Xbox 360 version of Need for Speed Shift really trying to access the Playstation Store? Microsoft are not going to be happy about this.”
And the world LOL’ed.

Champion drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr is featured in the video after the break discussing the part he played in the development of Need for Speed: Shift – which just so happens to contain loads of drifting.
Game’s out September 17 and 22 in the UK and US receptively.
