Test Drive: Ferrari announced for March release

Bigben Interactive has announced a new entry in the Test Drive franchise, building on one of the hottest licenses in racing.

Eurogamer reports the publisher already has Test Drive: Ferrari slotted in for a March 30 release, on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

It's not clear who is developing the new game, the first in the series since the Eden Games-developed Test Drive Unlimited 2 in February 2011.

Speculation pins down NFS: Shift 2 Unleashed developer Slightly Mad Studios, which acquired Blimey! Games and its unfinished, licensed Ferrari game in 2009.

Slightly Mad was recently revealed to have an unannounced title in the works.

Expect an update soon.
