First Shift 2 dev diary details "real racing"

EA's released the first developer diary for Shift 2: Unleashed. Watch it after the break.

The diary, which shows a mix of real-life racing and gameplay, explains how Slightly Mad Studios brought in real-life racers to help flesh out the experience of racing for the game.

The video also shows off night-time racing, drifting and the new helmet camera in Shift 2, before proclaiming boldly at the end that the title would have "real racing."

Video's below. Shift 2 releases on March 29 in the US and March 31 in the UK for PS3, 360 and PC.
