Sony has announced a Ratchet & Clank movie will be released in 2015. A Heavenly Sword film, which is CG-animated, will also be released, but will only be distributed via direct-to-home video.

Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault is out today in the US, and for $19.99 you can play along as Ratchet, Clank and Captain Qwark embark on a new adventure. To celebrate, Insomniac Games has posted some concept art over on the PS Blog. Those in European release regions can expect the game, known as QForce, to land at their local retail store via the following schedule: UK, Ireland November 30; Australia and New Zealand November 29; and Europe tomorrow, November 28.

In celebration of the Ratchet & Clank Collection’s US release on August 28, Insomniac has released some very early concept art for what would later become one of the PS2′s most recognisable properties. Both of our heroes used to be lizards, apparently. Insomniac has posted new details on Ratchet & Clank: Q-Force, noting that first off, the game takes you back to the classic camera, weapons and third-person Ratchet gameplay, despite having a tower defense element to it.

Sony is celebrating the fact that The Ratchet & Clank Trilogy has gone gold with a new trailer. Watch it below. The trilogy will be released on June 27 in Europe, June 28 in Australia and June 29 in the UK. It’s expected in the US sometime this fall.

Insomniac has posted a new video for Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One which takes place on the Aldaros Plains, located on Planet Magnus. This area, full of floating islands of rock in a shifting landscape, has a boss called the Octomoth – not to be confused with Octomom – and you get to see our heroes battling it below. All4 One’s out on October 18 in the US and October 21 in the UK for PS3.
