Nintendo pours cold water on Operation Rainfall efforts
Nintendo has announced it has no plans to bring Wii RPGs Xenoblade Chronicles, Pandora’s Tower and The Last Story to the US.

Mistwalker and devs thank fans for localization campaign, Operation Rainfall
Japanese RPG developer Mistwalker and others have sent a warm “thank you” to their fans today after finding out about Operation Rainfall, a campaign started by American fans looking to convince Nintendo to bring some Europe- and Japan-only games to the States.

Report – Xenoblade coming to US, The Last Story coming to EU

Report – Sakaguchi says Last Story western localisation is inbound
LiveWii‘s reporting that Mistwalker’s Hironobu Sakaguchi confirmed to French gaming press recently that The Last Story will be localised for Europe.

More in-game footage of The Last Story surfaces
Because the Japanese want to see you on your knees, begging Nintendo for benevolence while worshipful tears fall from your cheeks like dying rose petals, they keep uploading videos of Japan-exclusive RPG, The Last Story.
This one apparently shows off the opening moments of he fifth chapter, and if our Japanese were better, could well contain spoilers.

The Last Story website gets updated with gameplay details
Nintendo may not have plans to release Mistwalker’s The Last Story outside of Japan, but that doesn’t mean you still can’t read about all of the gameplay details you’ll be missing out on.

3DS and Kirby’s Epic Yarn partly to blame for The Last Story releasing only in Japan
Nintendo UK boss David Yarnton has said the reason the firm isn’t releasing Mistwalker’s The Last Story outside of Japan at release is because of Europe’s diverse languages and the the fact Nintendo has “so much on its plate at the moment.”

New Last Story trailer puts emphasis on the “story” part
It’s been months since we last saw hide or improbably spiky hair of Hironobu Sakaguchi’s The Last Story, but the Wii RPG’s finally back – and it’s still looking so pretty that other Wii titles may as well be running on Etch-and-Sketches. The eye candy du jour? A heaping helping of cut-scenes.
