Story for Mistwalker's AAA RPG nearly complete

Mistwalker boss Hironobu Sakaguchi has revealed that the story for the AAA RPG in development at the studio is all but done, bar "directions of the ending scene."

"I still have unsettled adjustment on the last dungeon dialogue and the directions of the ending scene. I didn’t think I had that much adjustments, however this being the last dungeon, my requests has become slightly excessive," said Sakaguchi on his blog (thanks, Siliconera).

On Monday, Sakaguchi confirmed, alongside the development of said AAA title, that the studio was also working on an iPhone game.

Mistwalker was started using Microsoft money in 2004, and has hence only developed games for 360 and DS.

The identity of the new RPG is unknown. The firm's 360 titles to date are Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey, released in Japan in 2006 and 2007, respectively.
