The Xbox Live Spring Sale has kicked off today, and right now you can pick up a whole bunch of stuff for less than you would have paid for it yesterday. Highlights include Skyrim DLC for half off, LA Noire for $15 and all its DLC half off, The Walking Dead episodes 2-5 at half off and the first one free, Hitman: Absolution for $20 and FIFA 13 for $40. Filmmaker Frank Darabont has claimed he had to change the title of a new noir series set in Los Angeles after LA Noire publisher Rockstar threatened legal action. However, Take-Two has responded to the allegation, stating there’s no truth to it.

Sony’s confirmed a download version of LA Noire will release this week. The Team Bondi investigative thriller, which launched in May this year at retail from Rockstar, will release as part of the PS Store’s content drop in the US tomorrow and in Europe on Wednesday.

Just a friendly reminder to those planning on picking up The Complete Edition of LA Noire on PC, that it is now available for purchase in stores, on Steam and through OnLive. In addition to the original full game, the crime-noire comes with a multi-use code to access all downloadable add-ons and cases. This includes all previously released DLC from the console versions, including: the Nicholson Electroplating Arson case, Reefer Madness Vice case, The Consul’s Car Traffic case, The Naked City Vice case and A Slip of the Tongue Traffic case. The game also features support for NVIDIA 3D Vision. In case you missed the PC specs when the collection was announced, you can view those below. The console version will release on November 15. Rockstar has announced the L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition will launch for consoles in North America on November 15 and internationally on November 18. It comes with a multi-use code to access all downloadable add-ons and cases. This includes all previously released DLC from the console versions, including the Nicholson Electroplating Arson case, the Reefer Madness Vice case, the Consul’s Car Traffic case, the Naked City Vice case, A Slip of the Tongue Traffic case, and all weapons and outfits released to date. It will run you $49.99/€49.99/£39.99. The PC version lands in stores November 8 in NA and November 11 in Europe on PC, Steam and OnLive.

According to an Edge report, staff at Team Bondi were owed as much as $1 million.
