Gravity Rush tops 100,000 units in sales, shipments combined in Japan
Gravity Rush, released in Japan as Gravity Daze, has topped 100,000 units in sales and shipments combined in the region, reports Andriasang. Hopefully the trend will continue when the game heads west in June.

“I hate being scared,” says Siren designer
Speaking to MTV, Siren: Blood Curse Designer Keiichiro Toyama has admitted he’s a massive chicken. Working on horror products was clearly the best option then, you Japanese mentalist.
“I hate being scared,” he said. “I also wonder why humans like to be scared, however, [I] haven’t reached [a] clear answer yet.
“Some say it’s closely related to one of the substances inside the brain. I’d say the fear and the ecstatic feelings after you overcome the fear are essential functions in order for humans to live.”

Silent Hill chap to speak at Nordic Game
Siren and Silent Hill developer Keiichiro Toyama is to speak at Nordic Game 2008, the conference confirmed this morning, as will Tameem Antoniades, co-founder of Ninja Theory.
The programme’s starting to look pretty good, in truth. Jet Set Radio Future guy Ryuuta Ueda, EVE Online boss Hilmar Pétursson and Age of Conan’s Jørgen Tharaldsen will also be making an appearance.
Nordic Game runs from May 14-15 this year, again at the Malmö Convention Center in Malmö, Sweden.
